Lucilla Bellini (b. 1979 Florence, Italy) grew up in a city full of art; her visual aesthetics was educated to see beauty from the beginning. Throughout her life and classical studies, Lucilla has always been fascinated by the contemplation of beauty in all its facets.
After completing her degree, Lucilla delved even more into Visual Art when she started working with an audiovisual productions studio specializing in visual editing. Since her first steps in photography, she has always been attracted to portraiture and fashion, diving into her subjects in a melancholic and cinematic atmosphere.
Her way of photographing becomes poetic, capturing beauty through various elements from the past, such as the use of vintage clothes, abandoned or destroyed locations, taking inspiration from pictorial and romantic images, and looking for alienating and unusual elements. The fascinating aspect of the time passed and the purpose of freezing an instant of beauty becomes one of her main themes.
Since 2008 she has worked as a professional photographer and co-founded FrenchFries creative communication studio.
